I actually did this as the ending of another piece and realized that today was valentine’s day. Completely not done on purpose.

Green Lantern Animated

After the last episode of Green Lantern:The Animated Series, entitled “Loss” and seeing what happened to Aya I thought of this mash-up of the title screen from Mega Man. Thought it was perfect.

Unfortunately too perfect along with the cancellation of the show.

Captain Marvel - Carol Danvers!

This is going to be the first of two pieces the next being of course ‘Captain Marvel’ from DC Comics.

When Carols costume was at first changed I didn’t really like it. Then I got the idea to put the Captain Marvel’s against each other so I had to use her new ‘Captain Marvel’ outfit and not her Ms.Marvel outfit.

Having worked with the new uniform I actually like it alot now. The whole flight suit design is fun. Only thing I think I miss is the flowing sash from the old one.

“Blue and Gold” Justice League New years hijinks: Part Three: The Reckoning

Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. I think these two quite possibly define Hero more than the big three themselves.

Everyone knows Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman. Everyone knows they’re Heroes. Superman and Wonder Woman have powers and Batman has wealth, his intellect and gadgets.

But both Booster and Blue Beetle are just regular (sorta, as much as a guy from the future and a guy who owns his own company can be) schmoes. Neither has powers except for those they created(stole) for themselves through gadgets. Yes Batman has gadgets but no one thinks he’s a joke. Both of them have been laughed at time and time again and they still soldiered on, did the right thing and became great heroes.

Blue Beetle fought when no else believed he was right and did the heroic thing to protect everyone and sacrificed himself.

Booster Gold was seen as a joke and fights to regulate and protect the integrity of reality itself even though no one will ever know he’s a Hero.

The big three aren’t Heroes for the adulation but they do get it. Blue and Gold are Heroes even when everyone else in the DCU think they’re jokes and they do it with a smile on their face. :)

And I’m calling it right now. Everyone remember when the Infinite Crisis happened (When Ted got killed) and everything was saved and the new young monitor woke up on ‘New Earth’ and there were news reports of the multiverse being back.

The New 52 is an aspect of the multiverse. DC can (if they want) go back to the ‘New Earth’ continuity anytime because all that happened with ‘Flashpoint’ is Barry either entered a parallel universe (since the multiverse was reformed in infinite crisis) or the Barry we know did go back to the ‘New Earth’ universe (which is the pre new52 universe if I wasn’t clear) and we’ve been watching the ‘New 52’ universe because there is going to be some cosmic cross-over with the ‘New Earth’ universe as the next big multiverse shattering event.

Just saying.

Also I love Canary’s face in this picture and like to think she’s snorting. After all she said once the only time she ever had fun in the JLA was when Ted was in it.

It makes me happy that they’re all just sharing memories of Ted since they miss him.
