Little Helena Bertinelli and her awesome grown up form of Huntress. I thought showing Helena as a kid was important to show how she turned a tragedy into her own strength. (Like Batman…yes I know she was originally his daughter and is now again)

Ah good ole Wade. Starting out as a 90s ripoff character (of Deathstroke) but eventually coming into his own. Oddly enough when he started out he used to be a lot more serious and not as fun as he is now.
So maybe THATS what they were going for in Wolverine:Origins…riiiight.

Spotlight: Ms.Marvel!
Now I didn’t know enough about Ms.Marvel, beyond Rouge taking her powers and being a sometime ally of the X-Men, to come up with a word for her but I did want to do a poster for her and lilyinblue on deviant art mentioned I should read her latest series (before the current one). So I found it and I did.
So hopefully I’ve done Carol justice and she seems like she never gives up till she’s victorious.

This was one of the first times I had more fun doing the ‘secret identity’ of the Hero than the actual Hero.
Probably because we’re both Canadian? Ha ;)

I hard a hard time coming up with a phrase for these lovely ladies and I think I might be pushing it implying they’re friends but I think it works well enough.

Spotlight: Supergirl the maid of might!
I hard a hard time coming up with a phrase for Supergirl. I think this works though, even though she always seems to live in the shadow of her cousin, I think what people forget is that she is just as powerful as he is and sometimes in the more modern continuity depected being able to become more powerful than Clark.
So in the end always believe in yourself because you are equal to your awesome cousin. ;)
I went with a combination of the different Supergirls over the years. Mostly 1950’s Supergirl with some modern mixed in.

Spotlight: Tomorrow Woman!
I didn’t know this Heroine all that well and had only read about her in the ‘Trinity’ series by DC. She and the phrase: “Believe in Tomorrow” were suggested to me by ‘PyroTwilight’ from DeviantArt.
Its was interesting working on a Heroine I didn’t know that well versus Heroes I’d kinda ‘internalized’ so to speak and knew their personalities. Her secret identity is Clara Kendall a reporter in Metropolis

Spotlight: Kid Flash!
I was little when it happened but it was huge when the Flash, Barry Allen, died and Wally, who’d been his sidekick for years took over the mantle of Flash for 20 something years.
Characters usually die and come back quickly but Barry always had sacrificed himself and Wally always took over and made everyone proud of him.
And now Wally is in limbo and gone because of the new 52.

Spotlight: Changeling..I mean Beast Boy!
Beast Boy was Beast Boy and then in the 80’s was known as ‘Changeling’ but then reverted back to being Beast Boy.
Isn’t comic continuity grand? ;)
Course doing his 80’s outfit I think I like it better than then ‘modern’ (actually take off of his orginal costume from his first incarnation) one from the titans cartoon.
Its just brighter and happier like Gar is.
Fun fact: Garfield Logan ran and held Donna Troy’s wedding in his (adopted) father’s mansion.
